That's FANTASTIC! I just hope the replies people did were actually helpful to the OP's (my worry is that peeps will just do a quick "I hope you get an answer" type reply that ends up potentially doing more harm than good)

My first thought is "don't reply unless it's actually answering / helping the person with their request". Replying just to "bump" won't usually make much difference, and will make it just drop off the unanswered list... which might do more harm than good. Maybe a reply tagging someone who will...

Every new member receives a PM that directs them to that section and invites them to create an intro post. Is that kinda what you mean?

Interesting ideas! Organizing the LC to match the forum might help with navigation. It might get a little messy having that many sections, with a mix of some having a lot of articles and some having only a few (or none), so we'd need to evaluate that. I'm not sure that changing the navigation...

Great question! I'd rather see someone PM another member with a link and ask them to respond. That way, if the person doesn't have a chance to answer, then the "unanswered" thread isn't left with the only reply being a tag... which wouldn't be the best outcome or a great 1st impression from...
