    No other chicken has been doing this, all of the others are Ameraucana's and I havent yet gotten a fairy egg from any of them, she is a eater for sure - I think she is the head hen in the house to be honest. My brother enlaw is a egg white lover so ill just give them to him LOL Still curious...

    Rocky was always a good layer, never laid fairy eggs and never had one till recently. I know shes about roughly 3-4 years old. I moved to az in 2014 and got her and a few others a year later, she is fully feathered and plump, so I dont fully understand this blip.

    I have been searching BYC forums of previous posts, and one person stated that too much calcium can cause this? Is this fact?

    Yeah no, there hasnt been any blood/tissue in the eggs, just egg whites and a little foggy stuff but that's it.

    All it is egg whites, no discoloration just a small bit of egg white. When she started this late Dec- early Jan she laid 2 normal sized eggs. No issues with those. they were totally normal. Lately though this is all she lays, didnt get one from her yesterday, and today. She is a Plymouth Rock...

    So is it normal for the hen to continue laying these "fart eggs" because my rocky the one in my avatar is roughly about 4-5 years old and she was a great layer, but now its just totally fart eggs from her, Does this mean she is "retiring" from the "Laying Normal Egg Sized Eggs" business?
