    Well, I couldn't decide so got 3 lavender orpingtons, 2 azure, 2 black copper Maran, 2 olive eggers. I ordered them from a local breeder as pullets as we're not quite prepared for chicks!

    Thank you, yes, I'm aware of the need for a balanced diet with sufficient protein, minerals, amino acids etc. I will be including animal protein too. I do have a lot to learn.
