Necropsy results, is not coryza or CRD--parasites are rampant!!!

I wouldn't go 2 weeks...7 days tops but that's just me. Research it. The FDA says no slaughter for 7 days so that's when I would start eating eggs. Pitch them until then.

    Does anyone else Free Range?

1/2 inch welded wire is adequate. A coon can't reach thru it. 1 inch wire is a coon masacre waiting to happen.

Blue Laced Red Black Wyandotte Cockerel

It's a post and I can't delete it after a certain amount of time. That's why I posted that he is gone now. It's not like Craig's List.

The lady I bought our Wyandottes from said she has 60+ roosters at any one time! She says she has just tuned them out. LOL

On another note, here is a family member we're trying to rehome. A gal in Texas (@Soltaria ) wants him but I've never shipped a chicken before. I think I have to buy a shipping box somewhere cause I don't see them on the USPS site. Anybody in driving distance of North Idaho want him? or advice...

OK Naturals, meet the new family member. We got him at 13 weeks and he will be 4 months old on the 7th. He's learned to leave the chickens alone, for the most part. Wants to play with the cat who doesn't but is fitting in nicely. Smart as a whip, his mom is the only miniature poodle to complete...

    Blue Laced Red Wyandotte THREAD!

Hey, I'm looking to rehome a Blue Laced Red Black Wyandotte cockerel. He is a beautiful bird located in North Idaho originally out of Foley lines, bred by Chickenhill Farms. Good temperament and not an all day crower. Free, of course, to a good home. Pictures don't do him justice. He's big and...

Thanks all...He owned our hearts. It was just not expected. We heard him coughing the night we brought him home. Took him back in the next morning and he seemed better...they said his lungs sounded good. My wife slept on the floor next to him and had her alarm set to give him a pain pill at 8:00...

Sad day in our house today. Our beloved black poodle, Jake, passed away following minor surgery two days ago. Lots of tears. He was 12 and a half and before the surgery was still full of piss and vinegar. RIP old buddy.

    The Wyandotte Thread

Those all look like mutts to me...No boys I can see. A breeder should be able to sell you what you want. Try Chickenhill on this site. And straight combs to boot. I would not breed them. Sorry....

Worth a try.....least invasive. Just get it good and soft. Epsom salt is touted to draw out infection.

I think the hot compress is a great idea....then a gentle sqeeze and aim it away from you. Epsom salt, lots of it on the compress works well.

I AM alive....just been livin' life. It's under the bridge to our front door...the bridge is so we don't have to go down outside stairs to get into the house. I just posted it to show the roof made out of the materials being discussed here. At least I think it's the same stuff. Been so long ago...
