This was my first incubator, and I am pretty impressed with it, although it could do with a few alterations. I particularly like how easy it is to clean and the selection menu- which automatically sets the temps, humidity, day count down, etc for each species of bird- making it ideal for beginners. I have had some amazing hatches in this incubator: 6/6 ducklings hatched from shipped eggs and 7/8 from local eggs. The tempreture is great! It doesn't change from 37.5'C and quickly recovers temps when opened. The built in candler is also a great feature, and is really strong.
A couple of months ago I decided to invest in the RCOM Humidity Contol Unit, which makes the humidity completely automatic. The instructions make no sense whatsoever, and it appears that other BYC members also experience similar problems with the HCU.
