I had five of these and three are now dead two I don't know why one from a raccoon and now one is VERY sick and none have ever been good layers and some can be easily scared.I have been very disappointed with this breed and don't recommend them unless their just pets.They are very beautiful though and can be very affectionate(depending on the bird).

I Actually Gave Only Two Stars

I have two Muscovy drakes and I just adore them so sweet and cute with their hissing and wagging of their tail feathers I love them a ton and there crests are gorgeous and mine have a beautiful green sheen to their feathers they are my favorite ducks!

I have had quite a few of these chickens and was never disappointed by my hens they are extremely sweet and beautiful.They also are EXTREMELY GOOD LAYERS and almost never missed a day and can be very heavy and would be great meat although mine were never butchered.But the Roos are mean and are extremely aggressive during the mating season so you have to have plenty of hens for these little guys and they will protect their hens with their life literally.Overall I love this breed and recommend them to anyone who wants sweet(mostly just the hens),beautiful and very productive birds
