Is there such a thing as a bantam Olive Egger?

I made an olive Egger bantam in my backyard by crossing one of my black tailed buff Japanese and a Blue Wheaton Easter Egger Bantam. She just started laying. :love

    They won't me touch them...

I’ve had the best luck with my chicks by having a brooder large enough to sit in so that way I can have treats in my hands and in my lap so they can come to me of their own volition. They can relax and explore while I sit there and observe. After a while they will often perch on my hands or my...

Pullet or cockerel? Six week old bantam cochins

Had to do some digging, but this was my male partridge Cochin Bantam at that same age. Those dark mahogany feathers were a big telltale sign beside the early comb development. Hope this helps!

    Lavender fabric sheets

Herbs and natural ingredients- I grow them use them in my coop/ nest bedding. Mostly the birds just have fun eating it. Perfumes and chemicals- probably not the best idea, they only smell of lavender and probably contain no real esstential oil or actual benefit. They’d likely only irritate...

Three week old TSC hens or roos?

Girls so far, especially the ones with the dark eyeliner, but the Sebright looks male. My six month old girls didn’t even have that much comb.

    Human infection

I’d think the dust would set off allergies or any accidental fecal contamination would cause more gastric issues. Sounds like normal kids bugs to me, especially at two. Could the dust be irritating her lungs on top of a cold? Could be likely depending on how much she is exposed. 40, dry, and...
