I understand wanting a tractor that you can lift and move around, but you (and the chickens) will definitely want something much larger for 6 birds. That coop looks big enough for about three max. And there is very little space for ventilation that will not be at the level of their roost...

Not all Easter Eggers lay blue eggs. They are mixes so some will lay other colors like brown. They may all lay blue eggs. You never know.

Could be too steep or narrow as @Acre4Me mentioned. But have you tried placing them on the ramp? Spreading treats on it? It might take a little while for them to get used to it.

My family and I don't eat a lot of eggs so I like keeping 5-8 chickens. Any more and my kitchen will be filled with eggs. 🤣 I currently have 7 (plus 4 ducks) and still have too many eggs during the warmer months.

It's becoming more and more difficult for me to endure the long winters here. At the same time I don't do well in the heat (70+ degrees and I am dying). So my dream would be to have a winter home in a warmer place and come up to Vermont during the summer. Just have to build a chicken coop...

That's a good one! I know we don't have to do all these prompts, but maybe there should be an art prompt once every week instead? It will be easier to keep up and it might allow us to all work on the same prompt at the same time.

This is Sam, my neighbor's very friendly extra-toed barn cat. He invited himself on my birding outing this afternoon. I don't think he was there just to watch birds...😬😂
