How much to drain at once -cystic right oviduct

Yes, you are correct, I don not plan to take out that much at once, just 60 cc's. I am not sure if that is considered a lot. I only did 13 ccs the last few times.

How much to drain at once -cystic right oviduct

Thank you, I did try to let her drip on Tuesday and it didn't work. I was hoping to just try to get it out faster this way now that I found a larger syringe. I think it is cystic right oviduct because when I took out fluid the last few times it is crystal clear, which some say means it's not...

How much to drain at once -cystic right oviduct

I know taking too much fluid from water belly can cause shock and even death, but what about draining cystic right oviduct? Is there a limit to that as well? Thanks!

    Water belly with diarrhea

What about the needles for the syringes? Are those universal? I can easily find a syringe, and a needle online, just not as one unit. Thank you

    Water belly with diarrhea

Yes, I have checked amazon and tractor supply. Tractor Supply only has the ones with low CCs and I want to be able to take more out at once instead of re-poking her so much. She is roosting, but when it was real bad, she was on the floor.

    Water belly with diarrhea

Hen has water belly. Draining it over time since the only syringe I can find only has 12 CCS. Does anyone know where I can find a larger tube with a needle? Everywhere online has no needles or a blunt needle. I need to take out more at once but can't find anything anywhere and tractor supply is...

Is she on her way out?

I just want to update in case anyone sees this in the future, since we don't get a lot of updates. I did give her a bath and am glad I did. Once she was all clean and wet, I could see her abdomen and it was huge. I felt it before, but it was difficult to see because she is a big girl with a ton...

Drained water belly clear liquid please help!

I took 40 ml out. Her entire abdomen is filled though. I couldn't do much because the "water belly" kit that I order had a syringe that wouldn't fit on the tube, so I had to use a smaller one and had to do it myself, so I had to poke her 3 times which I felt really bad for doing.

Is she on her way out?

I brought her outside and she was normal. No missing feathers in belly. This morning she was laying in the ground instead of her roost which has never happened. No eggs underneath her, but one nearby. She came out of the coop no problem. She is still very inactive. I am going to give her a bath...

Is she on her way out?

She literally was sitting on them for maybe 10 minutes. I took them away and brought her back outside and she didn't seem bothered by it, and hasn't done it yet so far today.

Is she on her way out?

She is only 2. The water belly thing keeps changing from soft to firmer so I am afraid to poke her. Is it too late to try?

Is she on her way out?

I have many posts about Willow. Thought it was so many different things, from respiratory, to cocci, to egg peridontis, to water belly, to gapeworm, to worms, to sour crop, to crop impaction. Still don't know what is wrong with her. She has now been laying down all day. I see her drinking, she...
