Update….. I believe the integration is going well…. Some pecking ( especially from the lowest in the pecking order) but nothing serious…..seems like the pullets are avoiding the big girls by simply going to the other end of the run if they get too close…..the problem I am having is when I had...

My questions is for anyone who used pinless peeper to deal with pecking. What were the results after the peeper were removed? Did the pecking stop or did it continue? And would they be useful for adding new pullets to a flock if the bullying continues or gets worse? I am only considering this...

I should also mention the it’s only been four day the the pullets have been in the see but not touch stage….is one week enough time to try to put them together or should I go longer

So I’ve noticed that about 98% of the videos on YouTube on adding to the flock goes from look but not touch to placing them in the coop on the roosts at night and the next day they are just one happy flock…. Does this really work or is there a good bit of editing done to these videos?

Is there any truth to what’s been said about tractor supply layer feed cause hens to stop laying? Is it just the layer feed or all feeds? I have been using Purina Flock Raiser from TS for year. Is this something I should concerned about?
