I just bought a older one of these 1202 and it’s a wooden box, question it has no humidity reading on it has a square container with what looks like a potty float on it. By no readable gauge. What should I do fill the bowl and hope for the best or what do a buy to be able to read from outside...

No she didn’t she only hatched a few and it was a while had to remove several. Thanks. Any ideas to put my hen into broody mode?

I have a Houdans and polish mix hen. She’s over a year and I have had her penned with a totally black rooster (can’t remember the breed starts with A). Anyways I’m praying she goes broody, my plan is to save 12 eggs and then put them in her nest (in a small run and small nest box) my questions...

I would say hen, I to have a black hen bought as jersey giant but she’s half the size and lays white eggs so I have no clue on breed. Then just wondering do pictures make them look bigger? Cause my 14 week old chicks aren’t as big as pictures I see on here.

I believe you EEs there and not welsummers, they are beautiful and I would guess three hens but by no means am I a expert. Just giving my thoughts. Best of luck

I wouldn’t feed her let her eat if she don’t do it on her own she may died later. I have one and as she grew she got better with eating. I did offer her a little extra but let her eat on her own. Best of luck to ya.

I got three that are about 17 weeks now they have tiny combs and they are black in color. One of them feathers have turned very dark. So I’m not much help I say give it a few more weeks (2-3) and you should know for sure. How old is she suppose to be?

This is my little Frankie no feathers, she hatched 07-21-2018. So about 9 weeks old and no feathers can anyone explain this for me, I have never seen or heard of this before, worried she won’t survive, have heard of slow feathering but no feathering. Help!

Thank you these girls are just now getting combs you can see, all three are bright red. So I guess hubby is right they had to be much younger when I got them.
