hi! my female duck of 2.5 months just got out of the water around 15 minutes ago and shes still wet, she’s definitely the smaller one of the pair but i don’t think that has anything to do with it, how could this happen? because normally she’d be waterproof

okay, yeah the wound has like a scab over it but i gave him some multi vitamins and a deworming cure, hes starting to eat on his own tho so thats good
