I did candle and appears to have a yolk. May try just to see what happens

Anyone every try to hatch a tiny/fairy egg? This is my first tiny egg. I would think there would be no yolk in it but never cracked or see one in person before. Anyone ever incubate one? How adorable would a tiny chicken be? These are Ayam Cemani eggs.

Thanks. Megalay is a 16% protein. Not sure of calcium level in it off hand. They do have oystershells available and a small amount mixed in feeder as well. The BOSS are not handfulls... they are maybe half if that. I grab some and still have to open the door with that hand. lol.

I do have that on hand for chicks. Never had issue with it in older chickens. But maybe... Coop is cleaned out often and they are outside a lot.

I have 5 pullets (3 splash, 1 black and 1 blue) and 3 roos (all splash). Also have some more hatching today and tomorrow! I will be breeding them and offering chicks next year. Eggs they all came from were green. <3

Good question.. Also wonder what you all think is too high for final 3 days. Before they start hatching and it spikes from wet chicks.

I know this is an old thread but great reading good stories. I just received 16 shipped eggs and 5 have small cracks on the large end. So going to candle wax them and see how it goes. If 1 pulls through, its worth the effort! Wish me luck :) Will report back as I go through incubation.
