What you need to consider before you get your first flock!!!

Well the thing I am focusing on is this: WHAT BREED SUTES YOUR BACKYARD!!!!
A. Isa brown: these are an especially good pet if your looking for a good layer also what adds to there fantastic personality is there personality, each and every chicken is different but to have. They are wonderful with kids and are friendly but won’t get pecked in the flock after they have worked their way up the pecking .

B. Pekin bantams
If your in a small backyard then these are the chickens for you, they are friendly and have cute characteristics and individuals have funny personality’s the only con is they can be hard to get, everyone wants them. Other than that they are small birds with a big personality.

C. The Sussex
These chickens are wonderful cuddly pets that will be very heavy lap dogs. With their feathers around their neck it gives them a standout colour for just them, there size can be helpful but also not helpful l, if you have an attack Sussex rooster that is. Overall I would say this bird is one of the very best options on this article.

D. The Silkie. These birds can be great if you get the right temperament, some Silkies can be attack while others are quiet and loving. But weather your willing to tech the ones that attack, to respect you, will determine their fate.......
Again it maybe a brilliant addition to the flock, it may not be, it all depends on the bird.

E. Barred Plymouth Rock
Plymouth rocks are known for their beautiful feathers, gorgeous tempers and there ability to lay eggs. Everyone must be thinking that these are the dream birds, if you’ve had a bad experience I’m terribly sorry about saying there the dream birds, but my hen I have currently is a loving gentle kind hen.
So they in my experience are wonderful hens, whether your in it for the eggs or just the love of chickens. Whatever it may be, these could be the birds for you
