Using Every Part of your Quail

What a fabulous article! Thank you so much. The one quibble I have is that I would never put any meat or fats into my compost, so NO, I would not put the cooked remnants of the spine, etc., into my compost after making broth. Otherwise, this is a very helpful article. I learned a lot!

I highly recommend pickling quail eggs.
Nabiki has great recipes.
I’ve been in search of these answers, thank you!! Everything I’ve seen up until now has just been about the obvious ‘good meat.’

So relieved to know none of the parts will go to waste. ? Thanks again!!

Another excellent article! :D succinct but well laid out and not too wordy that you would lose any that are just passing through.
As for my personal experience using the birds, my dog definitely appreciated the parts that I didn’t want to eat. And my plants will appreciate the rest. And probably the wild birds with their feathers. They love stealing molted feathers so I left a little stack near where they like to nest. :)
