The Chick Inn

Well done, both with the building and with the article!
That's so nice you could rent it out if you ever got tired of raising chickens lol...
Amazing!!!:love:thumbsup:celebrate
Nice coop, I wish my coop was that well built!
Nice article and beautiful coop! Lots of pictures.
I love the automatic door- so helpful when winter comes around and I don't want to shovel my way down to open up the door at 5:30 in the morning! Such a pretty design.:love
Thorough plans. Great pictures. I appreciate the step by step visual instructions.
Beautiful coop, thanks for the great ideas!
Thank you so much for sharing this in such detail. You did an amazing job!!
What a great idea and a wonderful job. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful in its simplicity and functionality. An excellent model for keeping chickens. It only needs a few roosts and a poop board to complete.
Love the features that make it easier on the chicken-master. I especially like the removable divider and storage space.
This coop is so pretty and functional!!! :love
Love the concrete block as predator protection, the storage area (any moisture problems due to our PNW soggy winters?)

The whole design and construction are lovely! I want to make something similar with windows and venting along the top sides.
I love this design and well-documented build. It's serving as inspiration for mine.
If I can get my carpenter mate to give up and weekend I will be getting him to build this, I love it!!

This is the kind of coop i want to build. Love it, well done, and thank you for sharing. Does anyone have a materials list for a coop/run like this for 10 chicks?
Awesome coop! And ~ cutest "inspectors", ever 😊
Exceptional craftsmanship helps illustrate functionality combined with solid, safe design. I only hope I can do as fine a job come spring when I try my hand as we expand our flock.
Beautiful coop! I really like its size and clean design.
What is the electrical light or device on the backside of your coop? Is your coop electrified?
Do you have a lumber cut list or hardware list?
