budget friendly, quick and easy feeder. But agree with @3KillerBs, my girls would have that on it's side and food dumped out in seconds.
The design should limit wastage and the 2x4 should raise it to a good height for older chicks, but knowing how my chickens flip bowls by standing on the edge I'd be concerned that it would be easily overturned.
