Looks like a good solution to frozen water. Also avoids having standing water, which is good for areas where mosquitoes are a problem!
I would have liked this more if some tests had been carried out to determine at what temperature the water freezes.
What a great system! It's perfect for nasty Mid-Atlantic winters in the US - and has the added bonus of keeping the water moving in the summer, which should eliminate the mosquito larvae issue. I love it!
