The dimensions are 45" x 93" for the frame so that the roof would overhang a bit and I could use 8' 1x4's for the roof slats. The new height at the peak is 6'
When I originally built the coop, I was in the process of selling my house and I knew that I would be moving to a larger, more rural, homestead. I needed to be able to transport the coop. The footprint dimensions were important so that the coop would fit in the bed of a full sized pickup truck.
The floor of the little house is loose 1x4's on a frame so that I can remove the entire floor to give it a good scrub.
There isn't a nest box at the moment because the girls are still young. I will add a box to the back of their house soon.
