1: have them meet face to face
Make sure that they are between a structure, such as a upside down basket. Let them get used to each other.
2: trust your dog
When you think he is ready, let your dog encounter face to face without any barrier. Make sure you hold your chick. Repeat this until step 3.
3: let them figure it out
Wait until the chicken is older and to their full size for this step. This is to give your chicken a chance to defend themselves if something goes wrong. They will eventually become friends on their own now through communicating. Supervise the animals until your fully capable of trusting your dog to do no harm to the chickens.
