Enrichment for chicks

Fun ideas! I love all the photos.
I love this article I am a first time chicken owner. We were told we got all females however we have 3 roosters. I have an incubator set up for when a fertilized egg comes around however I didn’t know how to go about a nesting area for them. I’m glad I came across this. It helps a lot and I already can’t wait to have fertilized eggs!! Thanks for posting
Great article, I can't tell you how many dull brooding boxes I've made in the past. I will take my chicks outside to let them explore for a while then its back to dullsville. I have 14 eggs due in 14 days and you can bet they will have a fun and exciting brooder. Thank you for the article it was very informative and has forever changed the way I will brood.
I am going to do this for my Quail!
Very well written article and lot's of pictures. I can only agree with the author, mentally challenging young birds in the brooder will definitely result in healthier more active birds. I offered my Spring Ducklings a lot of things to play with, starting with a hollow plastic ball, filled with meal-worms.
Many good suggestions to copy. Thank you very much!
