Building a Chicken Run with Recycled Materials: A Sustainable Approach to Poultry Farming

Love the ideas on items that are good to use. I built my coop from scrap materials. Some came from a local thrift store. I paid $4 for several large pieces of plywood.

I'm always a fan of recycling material for other uses, and I find it really cool to see what people come up with!

Only thing I would add would be linking to some DIY coops members on here have made with recycled materials in the coop section.

Loved the article! We built our indoor (garage) chicken coop with reclaimed wood. While the wood we used was 20 years old, it worked out great.
