I only have one thing to add: don't sell yourself or your eggs short. Go to a local farmers market and see what they sell for there, as a starting price. Your wonderful home grown eggs from your backyard flock do not compare at all with a store egg from Safeway or Walmart that is 99 cents/doz. Maybe you can discount from the farmer's Mkt. price $1.00 or so, based on your customer picking them up from you, or providing their own cartons. Good article.
