A very good, and well thought out article. I tend to want to give my chickens and ducks more room than they need. I wake up at 6am every morning to let them out and put them all up whenever the sun goes down. I take care of my birds because they take care of me.

Really nice building you built for the chickens. We will be building a new coop sometime this year for all 29 of our chickens. I feel bad that you are only allowed four chickens, that would be torture if I had those rules here. I guess your area never heard about freedom. I will probably incorporate some of the building specs you used on your coop for our birds. Thanks for sharing your experience.
