What causes this HUGE bullseye in the yolk

I tried to look it up, but haven’t seen anything like it. Does anyone here know?

They might be slightly dried out so it looks like a bullseye.

It's not a bullseye, it's a shriveled, oxidized yolk.

You may or may not do this, but washing the eggs and keeping them on the counter/at room temps does shorten their shelf life somewhat. Whereas not washing and refrigerating keeps the eggs fresher, longer.
