At this rate when I get my civil engineering degree and build a bridge over the flood way 🤦‍. We at least have a week of sunshine here but still waiting on another peak from upstream.
That doesn't sound good! - Now is the highest peak of the waterlevel through in your area, meaning is it just a waiting game now or will that upstream-peak be a record breaker?

Finished up the Mallard shelter today by adding wood-chips to the base of the construction. This is how it looks like inside:

And here are the ducknagers, performing a home-inspection:

Despite it is being cold and wet and miserable outside, the Ducknagers decided to spend another night with their Mallard friends on the pond. It looks like Twedledum, this year's son of Pinball Duck, has a Mallard girlfriend…

Won't be a record breaker, but not giving a chance for water to go down enough and the floodways to empty. Talking to a bloke that lives on other side of the river (and this will give you an idea how flat our land out here is) said the river spans out over his paddock knee deep for 7km/4.3miles and has been that way for 3weeks. No wonder its not going anywhere, it's too flat

Good evening all, 4 day old ducklings got their first swim and they have been enjoying it. The 1 week 4 day olds joined them after they got a little time to themselves. Attached is a photo I now call 15 ducklings in a tub!
