I’m sure locals around here years ago ate them and some in these mountains probably still do. My friend born an raised here ate many animals I never would have eaten but they hadn’t a choice if they wanted to eat. Like ground hog for one.

Ground hog is one I could never ever try. I have seen too many and killed too many to ever eat one. They are so dirty.
