It is the lateness off the year for the delayed laying. Had I started my younger girls in March I would be singing 5 egg songs. But for now only 3. I went out this morning and my 2 non layers squat for me. So I know it will be in this month. I hope. At least I know what it looks like when egg laying is imminent.

ugh i know exactly what you mean. i have 7, 6month old BLRW and no eggs!!!!

i dont think they will lay anytime soon either

Is that a Dominique? If so how old? I have 4 Dominiques going on 24 weeks.

We have 3 barredrock hens...the older 2 (one of which gave us our first egg) are 27 almost 28 weeks and the "baby" is 24 almost 25 weeks old...
"Baby" "Lucy" "Michelle" ...Michelle is the biggest and our first to lay!
