Swollen lower eye and part of comb

My rooster’ eye is swollen below the eye and the lower part of his comb. He’s acting fine but he flew up and hit the coop ceiling really hard twice in the day he arrived , he thought the roof beam was a roosting bar . We treated it with Vetericyn eye wash and gel once daily for 3 days now just in case of infection. It’s still swollen and I wasn’t sure if swelling would go down eventually or if it is something else .
