Is it to soon to try tell the sex? About 8/9 weeks old

It is a bit early to decide, but roos usually have streamer like feathers near their heads, though that one probably doesn't have them yet, considering its age. Definitely try looking at some comparison videos and photos.

The comb is giving no indication that I can tell, but a more front-on view of it might show a "walnut" forming.

In another couple of weeks, it should be a lot easier to discern as the comb will grow or not, and the feathers on the head/neck and tail can then be an indication.
