Hi! So I’m brand new to this and I’m curious about a few of my chicks. My Welsummer chicks had all of the very clear markers for females as little ones but now they are older, I’m thrown off by the size of their tail feathers. They are six weeks and from what I can tell they have salmon colored breast feathers but would love a seasoned opinion.
Also my Ameraucanas are throwing me as well. My splash is just a bigger chick over all and I’m worried about the feathers by the tail? And the other one (not sure on color) also has a tall tail like my welsummers.
All in all no red combs yet. Just more for my own curiousity. I know they are much too young for anything solid, but I love the game of it all, ya know? Thanks in advance!
