They said they take the accidental roos to a ‘gentleman’s club’ where people can get roos for cheap. Maybe it’s off-site? I don’t really know, tbhTaking birds back after they leave your property is against the rules for NPIP.. which states no birds may come from non NPIP sources.. this includes once they've left your property.. according to my understanding.. and if not then.. what good is the NPIP anyways???????
I highly recommend against them (dare2dream) and they don't hatch their own birds.. they order from elsewhere.. last time I checked.
Are they NPIP?? This following statement was taken from their site at the following link..
https://www.dare2dreamfarms.com/chickens
"All chickens sold by Dare 2 Dream Farms are sourced from NPIP Certified Hatcheries and are:
- H5/H7 Avian Avian Influenza Clean
- Salmonella Monitored
- Pullorum-Typhoid Clean"
Transported in the same vehicle all the others they deliver are??They said they take the accidental roos to a ‘gentleman’s club’ where people can get roos for cheap. Maybe it’s off-site? I don’t really know, tbh
Oh no, I'm so sorry . I have two chickens remaining that I bought from her in 2020. So far they are both still healthy. One doesn't lay anymore and the other one started laying again almost everyday...she's four years old so that's pretty impressive I think.I got 4 silkies from backyard chickies and all 4 were really sick with cocci within the first week we had them. One ended up dying. I’m still trying to save the other 3. She send me some info via text to help but overall I feel like she didn’t really care about the chickens. She didn’t offer any refund or replacement for the one who died. My kids and I are devastated and this was our intro to owning chickens (I’ve dreamed of my whole life!).
We have wyandottes, buff orpingtons black, Rhode Island red, cinnamon queens, leghorns, naked necks, and next year we are having bantams, silkies, Isabella leghorns, Cookoo Marans, Delaware, red shoulder Yokohama.I see, what breeds do you specialize in? Are you NPIP certified?
