I have 3 hens & 1 Roo that were nearly identical oddball gray color chicks, too. One grew feathers in that were more gold, her name is Mystery, because it's a mystery as to what breed mixtures she may be. She lays off white eggs.

These 2 are also mixed breed hens, Ameracaunas with who knows what, 1 is Olive, her eyes were green for awhile but then turned more gold then deep amber, but she lays Olive green eggs, so Olive turned out to be a good name after all.

Top Notch lays blue eggs.

Here's my Roo, Mr. Razzle Dazzle.


Here's a hen you'd think would start out as a gray chick...but she was very dark, like charcoal. Go figure

Your chicken is stunning! This is my chicks mother, I love the silver color. I don't have any LO, but she makes up for it. Plus blue eggs!
