6 of the Firstfruits of my flock are our of the incubator and into the brooder. On more is in the process of hatching and the other egg has not done anything.

If I'm judging this correctly, I have 2 blue chicks and 4 black ones:

I forgot to check legs when I was transferring them -- worrying more about getting their beaks dipped into the water -- so I don't know for sure if any have feathered feet. Most, at least, are clean-legged.

It's been difficult to come up with a means of tithing chickens. :D
Yea I’d imagine so. I wonder if maybe giving a tenth of the eggs to like a food bank/pantry (such as one run by a church) would be a good means as well? I teased our pastor’s wife that I was just going to randomly drop off our unwanted drakes at their property. (Our pastor goes duck hunting) We ended up keeping our drakes though.

None of our local pantries accept backyard eggs. :(
