Awww! I remember my first chick. It is a wonderful feeling. I got mine when I woke up one morning. Surprise! There was my little chickie! I only hatched 7 eggs though. Two infertile, one quit about day 10, another about day 18, and 3 hatched!

I set 20 eggs: 14 silkie, 3 sexlink x cream legbar, and 3 ameraucana x cream legbar. 2 silkie eggs were taken out (yolker and early quitter)

18 made it into lockdown and there is 1 silkie egg which didn’t look very advanced but it was moving so I kept it
