The skies cleared up in time for the eclipse today. 10 minutes before maximum. Another day of sun and then rain returns. Things are drying out. Thanks for checking.

Once they're finished, only the painting will remain.

I'm delighted with the rendering. Nice straight lines and sharp corners!

It's a few days before it can be walked on.

Hopefully the wait for a painter won't be too long.

A little bit. I was inside all day so it was ok. It got chilly though. Hubby said the girls looked cold when he went to tuck them in.

How is ‘hair on fire’ going?

Well, Easter was a blur of desk work, I'm providing daily support staff, daily accommodations for people whose lives are not going to plan. Hundreds of emails in last couple of weeks, it'll be thousands soon. All my long term projects are faltering.

Just gotta hold on and ride the wave.

Anyway, getting back to things that really matter... It's still wet in places but will dry out to a consistent colour. Then the veranda slab will be painted, probably a dark colour to set off the antique brickwork around the doors and windows.
