Miracle Grow As Dust Bath

I am recently gonna build a Chicken shed for my hens.But,I wanted them to have dust bathing spot afterwards of putting them up for the night,or since I will not allow much free range.

Questions:Could I use Miracle grow?Is it healthy for them?Will they eat the plant food?

Any sort of fertilizer, including Miracle Grow, would be toxic to the chickens if ingested in enough quantity. Expensive too, a bag of sand would be so much better and cheaper.

We used a mixture of purchased "plain" top soil, diatomaceous earth, sand, and wood ash and put it in a 4x4 raised bed garden.
