to answer the question of mixing there isn't really any "mxiing" In peafowl unless one is speaking of Green peafowl/ Blue peafowl hybrids. Given that besides hybrids there are no breeds only color varieties you can't really mix them the way the word is usually used.

Think of it like this. If peafowl were chickens there would be only the wild junglefowl (greens) which show no traits of domestication and one domesticated "breed" I.E. Blues. The Blues come in all the colors and patterns the Greens come in none but the wild form. This is a bad way to explain it but most people just get confused when we say "varieties" since that is usually used in breed terminology when there are no breeds in peafowl.
