As for me just ordered 25 from a hatchery. I know they won’t be anywhere near show quality but they are my start. I once bred multiple champion coonhounds ( my grand pup won the breed at Westminster twice!) Now going to work on breeding my Houdans.

I love my Houdans, I had 5, now 3 due to natural circumstances, so ordered 3 more for May. Mine insist on being held every day. There are so many positives with the breed.

My Houdan is my most calm chicken! She hops right into my lap if I sit down and likes to perch on my shoulders like a parrot

I love houdans! I just have to say that they are one of the most friendly breeds you could ever get.
