I have one 3 day old that had a mild case of pasty butt that is all but gone now. But.............I was just cleaning her up a bit, and there was a ball of dried poo (or so I thought) that I just picked off with my fingernail. And, oh no, it was her scab for her belly button. It bleed a tiny bit, just barely enough to get on the q-tip. I dabbed it with vaseline and let her be. She did not protest at all, or even let out a peep.
It is not bleeding. Will it be okay? I could just cry..............I try to be so darn careful and I do this!!!!!
No one seems to be picking on it. (Ihave 5 total peeps.) Should I just leave it alone?
