13 not too bad

Gosh I have 28 now!!! WTH happened ?!

I want to be down to 15 or 16 by winter. So even if some of the school chicks are lovely pullets I just can’t keep them all.

I will keep Rico, Martina ( if she’s a she), and maybe one of the school chicks, leaning towards Petunia

I have never had [problems with ones from TSC.

Might make a trip to Peavey Mart come Wednesday…. Just to be nosy. Need salt block for the horses; and if say a couple chick fly I to my cart as I walking by… we’ll what’s a girl to do??

I count all the feet and divide by two. ( I have a chicken foot thing!)

Right? You may remember I started this whole “let’s get chickens” thing wanting 3 maybe 4 now I sit at 13 and plan to breed the fancy spotty ones to help a bit with paying for this new addiction. Smh @ myself. Love them though, so what’s a girl to do? Get more chickens of course!

Always ill have 3 drs appts this week just got meds for vertigo Clyde has been very sick I thought he was gonna die but he fought and is starting recovery

A day after the first chick hatches I'm gonna put the rest in the incubator until they hatch. I'll just pray that she accepts the chicks.

Give them 48 hour under her to hatch! When she takes her brood off the nest - then grab the remaining eggs and put in the incubator.
