First Batch of Quail Are Hatching! :D

I'm pretty psyched! I went to add water to the incubator to boost the humidity for my quail to hatch tomorrow and I noticed there was a busted egg. I picked up to look closer at it, thinking it had "exploded" with a bacterial infection like 3 eggs before it. It peeped at me! LOL

I put it back and closed the bator, which returned to it's temp within the same minute. I just checked and I already have one quail out. Boy, are those guys small.

A&M Giant White Coturnix. Nothing fancy, but it's still the first non-chicken/turkey bird I have hatched.

Congrats! They are just tiny little buggers aren't they? Love em! Mine just hatched out yesterday and today. They are so much fun to watch and they grow so fast!

They are pretty. I have some and they are beefy babies! I have a batch from the same day and the Texas AM are twice the size of the regular coturnix.
