Dove with a white pupil...

So, earlier today my brother caught a dove.

One of the doves pupils is pure white, while the other is completely fine.

Does anyone know what could be the cause of this birds white eye, or what’s wrong? Is there anything I can do to help, or will the other pupil go white?

Other than the white pupil and somewhat inflamed eye, the bird seems healthy.

And I haven’t tested if the doves sight is affected, since the birds is stressed.

Does anyone know what is going on with this dove?
