I have an egg thats is peeping and tapping. Will it probably pip overnight? Hatch overnight?Do I need to stay up late to see it hatch? Do chicks in the egg sleep at night?

They don't sleep, I don't think, just take lots of little breaks. We've had a lot of ours hatch overnight. Good luck!!

Aww, that is a cute photo in your avatar with all the chickens!!!

Hi Missy, We are almost neighbors..I live near Multnomah Falls.
The deal is,they hatch when they are ready. I have had some start my day with a smile having hatched during the night. I have had others take a very long time, over a day, from pip to zip.........
Good luck with your hatch, get some sleep
