Chicks eyes matted shut?

Ok everyone, I just had twelve little chicks delivered to me from a breeder. Two were lost in shipping (somewhat expected I guess) and I just noticed this. This little one seems to have no eyes or have severe matting of some kind of coating over the opening of the lid. What should I do? It’s left side doesn’t look swollen but the right does (it looks more swollen in the photo than it is in real life). It was also chirping in the photo that’s why it’s little mouth is open lol.

The more I keep watching it’s body language the more I think it’s got some type of coating one eye just somewhat opened after the chick scratched its head
