Is there anything wrong with collecting bugs and feeding them to chickens? I have an insulated box over the water faucet near the chicken pen. Cockroaches inhabit this box. I've made a trap out of a bottle that I put in the water box, with a little piece of bread as bait. Every few days I check it and it usually has some roaches in it. I toss them to the chickens and they go wild chasing and eating them. I would think the bugs would be a great source of protein for the chickens. ???
