Chick with bubbling legs

I have a 4-5 week old chick whose legs are looking very concerning. This isn't something our other chicks are showing signs of and I'm hoping to keep it that way.

As a first time chicken owner I am really hoping to get some advice on what I can do to help my girl. Her legs look like they have boils, and maybe that they've been pecked.

She has been through it recently, keeping one eye shut and now this. I suspect they may be related (eye shut due to pain perhaps)..

Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

Welcome To BYC

Can you post photos of all of her?

Does the bubbling go up underneath the feathers?

Where are you located in the world? Do you have mosquitoes, ants?

I'm not quite sure what is causing that, I'll tag in @Eggcessive @coach723
It doesn't appear to continue under her feathers. Under her wings and her upper legs look clear.

It only really shows up on the front of her legs.

We living in Ontario Canada, so we do have mosquitoes and aunts. But the chicks are still being brooded inside my home. They haven't been outside yet.

I've tried to get a couple more pictures - see attached.

Oh my, that looks unusual. I haven’t seen anything like that before. Is there any swelling in the hock joints on either side? The right one looks a little swollen in the picture. I would watch for any pecking, since the others may have caused that or may peck at the red and spots. Warm Epsom salts soaks just to the legs up to feathers might be soothing once a day, but keep her warm enough, and dry thoroughly.

Hi, Littlefarmflowers,

I'm sorry your little one is unwell. :(
I consulted the Chicken Health Handbook(very handy book):

And looked for conditions causing boils on feet:

Here is the overview of this condition:

More in-depth on the cause:

I know you said your birds haven't gone outside yet; still, something to consider. I really hope your baby gets better soon. ❤️

Nice brooder!

I'd treat as suggested and see how it goes.

She's feeling a bit poorly for herself isn't she. What's her poop like?
