Can I buy sexed Silkie pullets/chicks?

I know how it’s impossible to sex them until they naturally show (although I’m not sure about vent sexing for them). I’m looking to get some pullets for my mother’s backyard. So I was wondering if any hatcheries or etc. had them sexed to avoid the hassle of weeding out. I’m interested in standard size, not bantam.

I once purchased straight run from Meyers hatchery- it was terrible. One was noticeably weak and died within a few days. Another had a series of seizures before passing. Then the last one was a male! An aggressive one for whatever reason and so I gave him away.

You may find them but I know most hatcheries don't vent sex bantams.

MPC sells them at about 30 bucks a pullet. They're not guaranteed to be standard though, most are between the two sizes, leaning more to bantams in my experience

My pet chicken is the only hatchery i know that sexes silkies but they are costly

I'll be breeding sexlinked silkies next year, but I don't know of anyone else that will. So that means vent sexing is likely the only other way without waiting a few weeks for DNA testing
