I know that summer and winter squash leaves are not toxic to humans,(can actually be peeled and cooked) but just wondering if it is OK to feed them to chickens? My fall squash patch is HUGE and I need to prune off some of the leaves. I'd hate to just throw them out or compost if my chickens and ducks could enjoy them. I did a Google search and couldn't find anything. Thanks!

I throw mine to my goats, but I never seen a chicken eat them so I don't think they will, now the squash themselves they will eat.
