Adding milk to fermented feed

Wifey came home with coffee and extra creamers the other day.

I don't use creamers or half and half in my coffee, after 25 years you would think...

Rather than let them waste, I poured them in the fermenting feed bucket for the birds.

They immediately turned into something that had the look and texture of yogurt.

Didn't stop the flock from enjoying, was that indeed yogurt they were eating?
 
Do you use ACV in your FF? I know that when you combine acidity with milk, it can make it curdle. I usually see it done to create buttermilk (adding something acidic to milk).

But that's not accounting for all the bacteria in FF...
 
It curdled because of the acidic nature of your FF. FF (with or without any sort of vinegar) will turn acidic (lactic acid) after a few days. It's not bad, just curdled...sorta like ricotta cheese. I'm sure they'll love it.
